“Where do the Wires go?” From his typewriter the wires run everywhere;
along the walls, down the corridors, under his very feet.
The wires appear infinitesimal, an infestation running like veins throughout
the ancient firm of Stonihall.
A lazy mind would simply ignore their existence: a curious mind cannot.
George Henry Fontaine is haunted by this question. This is the story of his
quest to solve the mystery of the wires, and to discover the dark secret that lies at the heart of his society.
In a world where the blind lead the blind, one man has his eyes wide open.
